Likely - the "little" Truimph had no engine - we were about 16 or 17 - modified a Brigs and Straton - or rather modified a mount for a Briggs and Straton engine to drive it - didn't work worth a damm!
The Red Hunter was a 1939 - twin high pipes - Burman four speed transmission and Lucas ( I think ) magneto
When it thumped - literally the bike lurched forward - I also remember a couple of rather interest kick backs when trying to start it!
We mostly bump started her - the shaft on the kick starter was just about stripped and bump starting was way more fun!
